Bambino Macaroni Vegetable Chatpata

Main Ingredients
  • Bambino Macaroni - 2 cups    
  • Onion - 1 medium
  • Tomato/ Tomato puree - 100g
  • Beans - 100g
  • Carrot - 100g
  • Capsicum - 1 small
  • Garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Oil - 4 tsp
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Jeera - 2 tsp
  • Lime juice - 2 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup- 1 tsp
  • Lemon - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - for garnish
  • Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide to Cooking
  1. Boil 1 litre of water, add in Bambino Macaroni, 1tsp salt and 1tsp oil, cook on medium flame for 3 min. Strain the semi cooked Macaroni and rinse in cold water and set aside.
  2. Heat 1tbsp oil and 1tbsp butter, add the finely chopped garlic and green chillies and fry for 30seconds. Add in the onion and saute for 1min. Now, add chopped carrot (1 no.), beans (7-8 diagonally cut into long pcs) and a small chopped capsicum and, saute for 2 mins.
  3. Now, add the tomatoes or tomato puree, chat masala, black pepper, tomato ketchup and salt to taste. Now, add in the semi-cooked Macaroni, combine well and cook on low flame with lid on for 3 mins. Squeeze half a lemon, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
