Bambino Soya Chunks Pulao

Main Ingredients
  • Bambino Soya Chunks - 1 cup
  • Soaked basmati rice - 250g
  • Curd - ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Chopped onion - 1 medium
  • Chopped tomato - 1 medium
  • Green chillies - 2 (slit)
  • Cardamom - 1-2
  • Green cardamom - 2-3
  • Black pepper corns - 8-10
  • Cloves - 5-6
  • Bay Leaf - 1
  • Dried red chilli - 2
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric - ½ tsp
  • Chicken masala - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - ½ tsp
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tsp
  • Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide to Cooking
  1. Soak Bambino Soya Chunks in hot water for 15 minutes, remove, squeeze and set aside. Now take Bambino Soya Chunks in a bowl, add curd, 1 tsp red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, chicken masala, mix it well and keep aside to marinate.
  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, fry the whole spices and dried red chillies for a few seconds, add the chopped onion and fry for 1 minute. Now, add the marinated Bambino Soya Chunks in and fry for 1 more minute. After this, add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook until soft. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric and salt to taste and combine everything well.
  3. Add the soaked rice to the spices, mix it well, pour in 500ml water and cover the pressure cooker with whistle on. After two whistles, turn off the gas, and allow pressure to release, and transfer to a serving bowl Bambino Soya Chunks. Pulao is ready to be served. Enjoy it with raita, chutney or as is.
